Catholic School Week 2007

January 18, 2007

Dear Parents,

Beginning January 28, we will observe Catholic Schools Week.  This is the time each year that we honor our school’s excellence and highlight its mission and traditions.  We take this time to reflect on the high-quality, faith-focused, values-added education that we offer and to remind our entire community of the vital contribution we make to education and the quality of life.  Most of all, Catholic Schools Week is a time to celebrate!

This year’s Catholic Schools Week theme is “Catholic Schools: The Good News in Education.”  This theme brings to mind an open book, symbolizing both the Bible and knowledge.  It is a reminder that not only do Catholic schools teach academics, they also provide students with a Christ-centered, religious foundation.

Our students, day by day, are learning and growing in the Lord and gaining a values-filled education.  It is the commitment of our staff, parents, and volunteers who give lovingly of their time and talents to help make our school excellent.

Please join our Catholic Schools Week celebration and participate in our activities.  Please encourage friends and neighbors who may be considering a Catholic school education for their children to visit the school.  Not only is this a time to celebrate, it’s also a time to spread the word about the “good news” in education!
